Hello everyone,
I was wondering if player created contracts may ever be put into the game. A few other MMOs have them and in most cases they're great for bridging the gap between older players and newer players.
For some background if you're not sure what I'm talking about, contracts are essentially player made quests that other players can accept. They usually involve acquiring items but in some MMOs they can also deal with the transportation of these items.
The reason that these are nice is that people that have been playing the game for a while may not enjoy farming items or other tedious task that newer players may graciously accept for a relatively little reward. So, it put's money in newer player's pockets and older players don't have to spend time killing level 5 mobs for items that they can use.
Another reason I think this could be great is it could give level 50 characters a use for exp. As we already know most leveling in FFXIV:ARR will be done via questing. Level 50 players have no use for this exp. So, I was thinking what if this extra exp collects into a separate pool and then it can be added on to their contracts as extra incentive.
Obviously, there needs to be a lot of checks and balances for these kinds of things such as completion timers. I just wanted to know what you all would think about it or what you might add to the system if it ever comes to light.
