how do we check this? I am on right now and can check for Aegis
You mean I have to log in for this this? No thanks. ><
who cares?
The server pops after 2.0 start-up are a lot more important than the server pops for the 1.0 version before it dies.
It's useless data. the only thing people can say from it is "the game is dying!' or something to that effect. Others may make a correlation between the low populations now and suggest falliciously that 2.0 pops will be low as a result. Nothing can come out of this thread but negativity.
Because version 1.0 is shutting down imminently, data about current populations has little meaning. When ARR launches, then population data may be more meaningful.
1) what game has been in a similar situation?it could be compared with other games which have been in similar situations. Don't like it?
2) what is the value in making such a comparison?
1) Aion would be a shining example, and any game that has shut down. (which is essentially what is happening here)
2) All data has value.
More importantly, obtaining the data damages nothing.
Which brings me back to your very first post in this thread: "Who cares?"
Clearly some of us do.
A better question would be:
Pre-Shutdown Server Pops that are actually doing anything other than standing in Uldah looking sexy.
Go.
