Fishing past 40

So god help me for trying to level fishing. But im 42 at Grade 5 at Halitali getting only 180 xp at best. And all the guides i try to look at say 30-50 say no suggestions. Is there any other places for better xp or do i have o start just spamming leves, cause i wanna try working on the achievements rather than leves.

No other place sorry to say mate, its either stick it out or move onto leave to finish yourself off.

Leve(ssssssss) only. I leveled at camp iron lake, set home point in city and at camp. Death warp home naked, get leves teleport back. Make a naked macro so your gear doesn't break all the time. Can use a weathered rod to protect your main, and to prepare for hamlet

jesus make we wonder cause mining after 45 leves barely gave crap for xp to i stop and just started minig cobalt ore and took a few month to level of tht but i was worried about the leveling then.

My fishing is lvl 49ish, and i can say to get it to 50 would take 48 hrs :P

With leve's it will only take a few hours. ( I'm level 50)

40-50 only took a week for me.

Rested exp + exp scroll + food = +103% exp. That's when I start to do the leves. Even without the rested exp bonus... If you want to level it fast, buy the scrolls and do the levequests.

Yeah 40-50 fishing is a bitch. But i can help you with that, the best method is spamming leves at iron lake.
Just the one where you have to fish up a certain fish.
Combine this with exp rest and manual. Then you just have to be efficient, set hp at limsa and favor iron lake.
