Oh no! Not all those poor life-less NPCs..!!!!!Square Enix is being highly disrespectful to those who died when Dalamund fell on the world. It hasn't even been 5 years and players are going to be willfully calling down meteors to wreck havoc? Millions of people died. It's too soon to be casting meteor limit breaks.
Meteor falls and destroys most of the world and kills countless, and in response players start casting meteors. Have ye no shame or remorse?
and...
my twin..!!

Seriously?? Let's just call it comet then, I think a big rock of ice would be more convenient to cool things down here! In respects to the 'SE Gods' disrespecting (NPCs who died five years before ARR) with a spell that caused destruction to the world, if sure they don't mean it. :P
If Ishgardians were able to wield this power, now it's in safe hands to deliver justice and deliver payback. >=)

I'm guerssing there are going to be a lot of threads like this once the servers go down...

I look forward to them. They make me laugh.

Prior to its descent from the heavens, the object known as Dalamud was previously thought to be a secondary moon orbiting the main moon, sometimes refered to as a lunar satelite. While Dalamud may not be a natural formation, but appears to be a man made mecha-construct, its size and composition is quite different to the descriptions of a meteoroid. So despite the colloqial generalisation, deeming Dalamud a 'meteor', it is an erroneous classification. It is also neither an asteroid as it does not orbit the sun. Therefore in most probability the best term for Dalamud is a displaced satelite, so technically there should be no offence to the term Meteor being applied to a spell in a post-apocalypse world.Meteoroid - A sand to boulder-sized particle of debris in the Solar System.
Meteor - The visible path of a meteoroid that enters the atmosphere
Meteorite - Different term for the meteoroid if reaches the ground and survives impact

I was waiting for you toOCDpost here Rogue lol

How the hell else are we going to burn away all that grass?
