Having faith in SE: "Ok guys, here's the alpha test as promised. It will begin September 25th for the Japanese stress test then becomes open to everyone on October 6th. Alright! Now that that is over, beta begins November 15th just as promised."

^ SE keeping their word and sticking to schedule is what gives players faith. It's not negativity at work nor is it people just being impatient, everything SE has said and done lately has been so far off base they may as well not say anything at all.

SE: "Information about ARR will come out all summer long!"
Translation: "You'll get bits and pieces of information sparsely throughout the summer."
SE: "You're in for a flood of information about ARR starting with Gamescom."
Translation: "You'll get the same information repeated to you multiple times through interviews."

Honestly, as much faith as you want to put into SE you have to admit, everything has been delayed and extended, remember how they said it will take a month of downtime to transition over to ARR while we're testing with new accounts?

I will admit that there have been uncountable delays and extensions. However, I will also point out that nothing SE says is set in stone and believing otherwise is proof of your naieveté. Most of SE's posts in regards future dates are more often than not projections shrouded in vague verbiage such as "we would like to launch by...." or "we hope it will be ready by" and "if all goes according to plan we will implement..." or "ideally...".

There are very little hard and fast dates in regards the implementation of content in development. Rarely will you find such precise terms as "we promise that by X date Y event will be implemented" or "we are certain that the game will be ready by..." and "such and such will be implemented by..."

The point is SE hasn't decieved you, but rather that you have decieved yourselves by misinterpreting SE's choice of words. Your assumptions and expectations in the fulfillment of false prromises are solely to blame. If you take everything SE has to say inregards the timing of events with a grain of salt and look at it from the perspective that nothing is set in stone you wouldn't dissapoint yourselves so often. What's worse is to place that dssapointment on others when it is entirely within ones own control.

It has been reported all over the place and on the forums that ARR is NOT launching until after JANUARY 2013. Not sure where you are getting this bogus information as I can guarantee you there is NO source detailing a Nov/Dec launch.

In fact, the roadmap clearly states the Open beta starts in January. So how could they launch while the game is still in beta???? This is not speculation.

November and December represent the two month long downtime before the anticipated launch in january for the New Year. How you are unable to interpret that I know not other than to assume you are dense...
