Wrong, 30 is the limit for the console. There will be a uncapped option of the PC.

Indeed, uncapped for PC for sure, but, to play devils advocate, you really can't see much past 60~80 FPS.
Not saying 120 isn't lovely, but you start to exceed basic human limitations of how fast your own eye's see. If you can get a game above 100 FPS constant, it's time to start looking for sweet injectors of sorts to give you more eye candy.

It ultimately depends on your eyesight and display. Above average eyesight + a true 120hz monitor is just a pleasure I enjoy and like to take advantage of.Indeed, uncapped for PC for sure, but, to play devils advocate, you really can't see much past 60~80 FPS.

Something funny I thought I'd point out in their "roadmap". There's mention of a geographical anomaly that's supposed to surface. Unless I've missed something this "anomaly" doesn't exist in the current game does it? Unless the strongholds or dungeons are supposed to reflect that.
Now if the archon stones are supposed to be these so-called landmarks then it feels kinda dumb. There wasn't even any secret to them, Louisox tells you himself he created these stones where the presence of the Twelve was felt the most. While I'm certainly not expecting the game to be rushed I do believe they're nowhere on schedule with the exception to the full release (Rather sales.) of ARR. Seeing as it says "Post-January" that can mean anytime after that. However, they are behind schedule on things like beginning the beta-testing period. Distribution of the PC client should have began around September to October. But from what we already know it won't be available until November, likely first week to second. I'm too lazy to go look it up but I do believe they were aiming for the beginning of November for that without giving a definite date. PS3 closed beta would have started this month (Going from Oct. 1st to Nov. 1st if I read that correctly. Give or take a few days.) ending around November."One day, a massive geological anomaly suddenly appears from deep within the ground.
Current players will have the opportunity to unlock the mysteries surrounding this strange, new landmark in the coming months."
However from the looks of it first 2.0 beta for PC will start and PS3 beta will follow after. 2.0 won't launch until February or March since beta has been pushed back. This is likely the only part they aren't behind on, the release of 2.0 since they never specified a determined date. Now I know the dates are subject to change, they even listed it after all. But compared to the roadmap they gave us, and what we know at this time, they're definitely not on schedule like many are trying to say.

What are people really expecting here? For them to say what we all know, that the dates are subject to change and that they'll update us when they have more info? That's about all we're going to get at this point.
Whether or not they say anything, it doesn't change the fact that the game's coming out when it's ready. If they could give us an exact date at this point they would. I can understand the frustration but all we can do at this point is chill out and wait for them to have info for us.
Keywords: "I expect" does not equal "set in stone" I Expect is more of "I hope" we can make "September or early October"

All I read here is "I Starlord swear by the 12, and will write my promise in stone as I fulfill my word to the fullest of my ability - or so help my chocobo."

Is that what the cool kids say or something? Intrigued indeed
Annnnnnnnnnd that's exactly what happened with 1.0! Keep it in the oven longer! No one wants to eat bloody meat! Yuck! And I bet if SE released the game quickly and it was terribad, they would whine more claiming the game should have been worked on more.
