The Raven Nevermore, Looking for dedicated members willing to get this done.

After doing around 100+ Nevermore runs, I've come to the realization that this fight is just not possible without a solid group of the SAME people who are willing to do a lot of runs on a regular basis. So I'm trying to get a group together.

So far the slots that are permanently filled are:

MNK <- Me
DRG <- Kava
THM <- Raka
WHM <- Showmo

We have a BRD and a PLD who are really good but they play on an EU timezone so they only do runs with us late night at around 11:00 PST and beyond. Looking to find some people who can run during the day more when we are not running with them at night, please send me a tell in game or list your character name and I will send you a tell if you are interested.

Looking for a PLD, BRD and another THM for full time. With our setup last time, we got him down to 50% on phase 2 with a ton of time left, the only thing we have yet to overcome is the golems that spawn one by one. After that, we will be able to beat this no problem. If we get people who really want this fight, we will succeed, so that's what I'm hoping for here.

Requirements:
You must have a mic
You must have above average gear, or at least show that you are trying your best to gear well, Magic accuracy is very important for mages in this one.
You must know the general strategy, plenty of videos to watch online

Got a group together. We had 4 potential winning runs in a row, each with someone DC'ing and/or lagging so hard they could not target Nael. Will win as soon as latency permits. Just for some inspiration we have a group of 8 with absolutely no relics, just dual and tri-melded gear and its definitely possible. A lot of people seem to think relics are a must for this, definitely make things easier but with practice they are not needed. I would have prepared for this fight more by grinding for a relic, but I just don't have the time as I just got back to the game after a long hiatus and this fight will be permanently over in the next month. Quite a pity. I did make an LS just for this, simply to organize the static easier. I was never a believer that latency was an issue, but this fight seems to make people DC up the kazoo, especially in phase 2 when the golems spawn.

For those having problems with the golems on phase 2, be sure to have one Monk with fists of wind, and have white mages using wind, as well as keeping sanguine rite popped. That's key, and it took us a lot to figure that out. Secondly, the DD need to run down ASAP after preventing Dalmund Dive in order to not get hit by Lunar Dynamo on the way down. The fight is actually really easy if there is no lag and you have a solid group of the same people doing the same jobs. Expect around 30-40 runs to get everything right though before you start feeling it's possible. Just wanted to throw that out there for anyone thinking it's too hard to undertake. Go for it!

Yea, it's just a static. Too hard to organize people otherwise as my friend list is so full of random people. Congrats on your win the other night, you were all trolling us hardcore but the Raven Burger comment I must admit was a bit humorous. You will be seeing us soon with the earrings as well! Take it easy. I'm quite surprised at how little people are trying this fight. I was shouting for literally days, took forever to form a solid group. After this is over, I think I will never LFP again.

Yea, took us about 3 days to get the win done. After looking back, the fight is pretty fun, only the final meteor stage gives me a headache, lol.

Not sure what setup you're using, but we won in 2 attempts after switching to:

BLM, BLM, MNK, DRG, BRD BRD WHM PLD

We wanted to try a setup with one White Mage but with only one White Mage and a Monk, how do you take out the 5 golems he spawns each time he jumps? One White mage healing + DPS'ing when all the golems are out seems nuts.

Our setup by the way is PLD DRG MNK WHM WHM BRD THM BLM

We keep the THM for Sanguine Rite at the beginning and when the 5 golems pop. Currently we are trying to DPS enough to only deal with one pop of the 5 golems on phase 2, but we are always like 2-4% away from not dealing with the second pop when the second wave pops. It's too bad because each time I need to be on golems with Monk, Nael is only getting DPS'd by the DRG and he regens health so quickly.

Was also thinking of going at it with two Monks, because fists of wind helps going up and down the stairs and taking out golems, but then again DRG always seems to parse a bit better on this fight so not sure how that would work out.

Lastly, any secret tips to share about the final stage of meteors, how many do you send to help out?
