but your statement has little meaning. Biggest doesn't necessarily equal best, but neither does "smallest" or "deepest story" or "best this" or "worst that."

Different people have different reasons for liking different games. This remains true even within a single genre.

There's a reason why Dragon Quest and other mentioned games are "Big." I'm pretty sure it's not because they're terrible and unfun.

There's a reason why those series are praised. An RPG isn't defined by it's story. It's the overall impression that the game leaves you with.
