New live GM event: Goblin Invasion?!

I can understand why goblin in FFXIV are chill in FFXI it made sense but there was a lot of goblin living in town selling and making stuff so ya. At the end FFXI and FFXIV have noting to do with each other and happy they doing something diff story-wise.

Tots dude. I can't understand what they're saying half the time but they're totally chill bro's anyway. Not to mention being level 60+ means they would destroy any Garleans that decide to aggro them.

I don't have any screeshoots but the basic:

A migote GM (like those before poped on cities asking about ifrit etz) poped and was speaking with people. After a bit It said that goblins where gathering on the entrance of uldah and ready to attack.
We went there and found Goblins (nonagressive) lvl 62 and we started to kill them while GM was watching us and cheering. Once they were death a lvl 73 goblin (nonagressive) poped and we tried to kill but oviously some of the AoE moves were hitting for 5k.
Unfortunatly I have no idea if it died and what happened if did because I had to go.

Hmm, just outside Ul'dah? OK, I'll stay here and craft for a while outside of the gate of Nald (since the Miqo'te in town may appear everywhere).

Interesting, I thought Goblins were "friendly, peace loving creatures" since people were about to kill themselves and telling everyone to take off their nostalgia glasses due to someone suggesting them being "not so friendly and maybe aggroing"..an invasion (if true) sounds a bit far from friendly :|

It's a weird invasion if no goblin is actually attacking unless atacked. Someone call the goblin ambassador, it's time for negotiations.
