Prophecy Inspection

Anyone know why these Inn quests do not always start when you log in, even if you have the key item and have been logged out via the bed for several hours? I logged in today expecting to get the cutscene, but nothing. Is this a glitch, or does this one require you to be logged out for several days? Thanks!

Going to need more details if this doesn't solve your problem, but here's what the patch notes say:

* Please note the following conditions for triggering the sidequests "Mysteries of the Red Moon" and "Prophecy Inspection":

"Mysteries of the Red Moon" will be triggered upon completion of the sidequest "Private Eyes."
"Prophecy Inspection" will be triggered by players in possession of the item "unsealed memorandum." Once the item has been obtained, players will need to log out from an inn room, and log back in after a certain amount of time has passed.
* The item "unsealed memorandum" is needed for the sidequest "Prophecy Inspection." Players who accidentally dispose of the memorandum may obtain another by speaking to one of the innkeeps.

You have fully completed "Mysteries of the Red Moon" I assume?

Yea, Mysteries of the Red Moon was completed. Strange, hopefully the next time I log out it will activate the cutscene. Thanks for the link though.

Try logging out in a different inn. I recall that these quests can be picky about which inn you use.

The patch notes explicitly say you can log out in any inn, but yeah it's worth a shot.

I think you have to log out for 1+ hour in all 3 inns. I thought it was something like that.

You have to log out for a undisclosed amount of time in each inn (meaning u cant just go to bed in the inn, log out than log back in, you have to be loged out for a certain amount of time.) When I did it I made sure to log out in the inn before I was going to actually log out of the game and didnt log back in for 24 hours. The time that is needed to be logged out is unknown but I would say stay logged out for atleast 24 hours or so.
