    Crafting Guides?

Are there any useful crafting guides out there in the world? Specifically, I'm a level 22 weaver and feeling a bit 'stuck' with respect to figuring out what sorts of things I could make to help me level up. I do local leves, but there are only 2 a day for me out of the one town, sometimes only 1, and I have to 'try' the canvas one at 25, but usually only succeed at 2 of them and end up failing the leve.

I was hoping to find a leveling guide to help me figure out what the best bang-for-the-buck is around 22.

For the canvas, try using the R17 wheel and make sure you're using proper gear.

The first thing to do for crafting is get the right crafting gear. For a weaver, that's a robe, but since you're also doing leatherworking you may want to go with a doublet vest and some +magcraft headgear, maybe a scarf or spectacles, then halfgloves, slops, thighboots, tool belt for the rest. Also make sure you have the best tool for your rank equipped, better if it's HQ.

With your gear in place, look for recipes that are 5-7 ranks above you on ffxiv.yg.com that you can easily get the materials for. Do those. If you're feeling confident you can even try things up to 10 ranks above you. You should be able to get 500SP a synth by doing this, which will help you rank up quickly.

Thank you much, I'll look into this. I do have a nice set of gear that I 'believe' has some crafting stats on it, but was always reluctant to use it too much for grinding since the wear and tear is pretty steep. I do believe I bought a nice wheel for my level (usually get my tools from other players' vendors), so hopefully that will work. And I've been hoarding lots of yarn for when I was old enough to start trying the canvas, so I might be good to go for the next 5 levels.

    Thanks again!
