Some of the most fun video games in history are 8-bit so i don't know why ppl are complainingPS3 version looks awesome for it to be on that system anything closer to the PC will make it melt
What are you doing? Don't bring evidence into a graphics discussion. Keep your arguments based on opinion, bro.You either never had a PS2, need very thick glasses, or you're simply being overly negative for the sake of being overly negative (which is the most probable option).
There's no room for opinion here. No PS2 game ever looked like that. It actually looks better than most MMORPGs on PC.
END of PS2 era (and FFXII was critically acclaimed as one of the best looking PS2 games ever):
FFXIV ARR:
If you can't see the enormous difference, nothing of what you say holds any credibility.
You're seriously getting predictable.
No no your totally right, this doesn't look ANY different then Xi did on the ps2. (/em rolls eyes)
WHat exactly do you people expect an MMO on a console to look like?
You do know Cry 2's FoV in the console version was tiny right, not to mention half of the time you're looking down the gun's aim sight.
Again you're comparing apples to oranges, two completely different types of games.
Dark soul actually used some pretty good DoF to stay consistently nice looking. No idea who said it lagged but it never dipped for me. Though I have the original ps3 that is like a mothership with ps2 backwards compatibility.
Dark Soul's Havok physic engine was the main reason. Along with the fact the game loaded the map texture further than what was shown. The issue was manly in Blighttown, with it's water physics and high amount of shaders and destructible models.
You do realize I wasn't being serious. I was just highlighting Elexia's entirely unreasonable expectations and her dissatisfaction with everything.
