Yes, because WoW was just made in 2012. WoW is it's own art style.. and gameplay wise, WoW is way better. Stop comparing WoW to FFXIV, there's no comparison. Stick to FF gamez. Gameplay accounts for a lot of a game's playability, shiny game but terrible gameplay is what got FFXIV in trouble in the frist place.. maybe you should learn that FIRST.

FFXIV may be broken, WOW just sucks.. its popularity is strictly based on Hype.. the graphics suck, the gameplay sucks... WOW was never a great MMO it just had a company willing to pay a lot for celebrity endorsements

It does have some nice aspects, but yea I couldn't play it for long.

It does, but the features are way better than its graphics (completely explorable world and navigate seas, naval warfare, sandbox environment that you can influence permanently and so forth). Though I'm not really happy with how the characters look. But that the cryengine for you: awesome environments and kinda meh characters.
