Not such a great game/community, but Aion graphics beat the hell out of the current FFXIV graphics.

You dumb? Did I say ARR or CURRENT FFXIV? Graphics on char/armor are 100x better, the armor in XIV is so plain looking(except AF which was added long after release).

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with the current FFXIV. Current FFXIV has better quality graphics on armor than ARR to be honest. The art style of FFXIV is way better than Aion also. Aion has such an inconsistent over-the-top theme for armor. Not to mention the wings, the hideous, hideous wings.

There is totally nothing wrong with the current FFXIV so they decided to spend 2yrs rebuilding the game after the major flop that it had, k stopped reading after you said there was nothing wrong, just another forum knowitall.

FFXIV got like a 10 out of 10 in the graphics department and like a 2/10 for gameplay and chronic bugs in every other department. That's why is got a 4/10 metascore and why it flopped. Because it was broken. The music and graphics were never universally slammed, however the lack of content, bugs, lag, and sheer broken gameplay caused it to fail, and caused the population to flee to better things.

Actually, I told you how it is. For some reason you implied that FFXIV failed beause of it's graphics (this thread was about graphics, remember?). I was just educating you as to why it actually did fail. Try not to cry. Well, at least you finally agreed with me that FFXIV has better graphics. That's all you had to do.

Not at all. XIV has a fantastic aesthetic, easily the best aspect of the game. The AF sets were a step in the wrong direction, gaudy and pandering in order to supplement their tacked on 'Jobs' system

Uh bowing to people like me when I have what? 50 posts compared to your 300+? Just shows who spams on here more, derp. If you think that AF armor didn't look great than just LOL. Although, the job system is total garbage, don't like it at all. Would prefer just 1 job, instead of how it is right now.

You seem to forget, the original XIV that did not have the job system and had MRD/GLD/THM/CNJ was not even like a normal FF game, hi where is WHM BLM PLD WAR etc? They had to do something to it because how it was noone understood why they did that. They prob got the idea from the person who thought of the "Job System" on the forums where they branch off from the armor instead.

Why are people just now noticing exp past lvl 50? You could see it during the gamescom demo.

PS3 version looks good, i'm surprised!

You can prob fill the XP needed for level 51 but not physically hit level 51, because eventually the level cap will raise.

I will never understand people like you. You think the graphics are inferior to Aion (maybe you are just so distracted by the slutty clothes that you don't notice how unrealistic everything looks) and you don't like the foundation of the class system. Those are two of the biggest selling points of the game, realistic graphics and the freedom to switch between classes; literally every other MMO fits the criteria of what it seems you would enjoy and yet you choose a game that is "broken and everyone knows it."

Or maybe you don't actually play, in which case, go away. There are people who actually enjoy FFXIV.
