As was stated in the 4Gamer article where they have more art, the atmosphere and feel of A Realm Reborn is coming through perfectly even if the quality and clarity of the PC graphics isn't presented in the PS3 version. It looks good for what it is, and hopefully will get more optimized in the coming months.

I'm nearly blind as it is, but aside from the UI, I don't even notice a difference.
How long before we hear ps3 limitations?

I like the ps3 UI. And the graphics are nice to be on console.

Personally I think it looks great, maybe cuz I've been a long time WoW player. But yeah PC does have more potential.
Anyway... why isn't any of this on the official website? Had I been a new player I would be checking the official website for updates and seeing none, would assume the game isn't progressing. I think it looks good but why does everything to do with FF Online games require so much "research" from quests to item lookup, etc... I remember when I played FFXI I needed to print stuff from my computer just to get quests done.

That's not saying a whole lot considering ARR looks fine.

lol omg I remember having to print stuff out too for ffxi back in the day haha. Yeah they really need to focus on updating their website. last night I went on xi to ask my friends in my ls if they are playing 2.0 and none of them knew much like about gold saucer and crystal tower. No one is going to go hunt down info, se needs to realize this. I am tired of hunting down info myself mehPersonally I think it looks great, maybe cuz I've been a long time WoW player. It will be eventually. SE (and other companies) often release the information to the press before updating official repositories. This helps generate more buzz since press sites are now releasing new, if not exclusive, information - which means the press is more interested. It also helps the community (although it might not seem like it) by allowing community sites to form and generate their own communities - which helps fill in the gaps left by official sites.Anyway... why isn't any of this on the official website? For those only following the official sites, the information will ultimately get there.

Logistically speaking, (for a gamepad user) how are you going to switch targets mid combat and select actions with any amount of speed? As it is now, in combat you have to cancel your action bar selection with O, press <- or ->, and then hit X to have your bar pop up for action selection. How are we supposed to switch targets when the D pad and the four main buttons are all default to actions (I'm assuming only in combat when you have your action bar displayed)? Is cancel going to be one of the bumpers? Or am I wrong in thinking that X, O, square and triangle have actions bound to them?
