Teleportation in ARR

My question is... are we going to have to play Metal Gear Fantasy Solid again? It was fun the first time sure, but I'd prefer having to fight my way through lv50-55 mobs to get to a gate rather than wait 6 minutes for a mob to turn slightly left and run past him. Also, boars can go to hell...

that's good, even people with all level 50 will still need to go visit everywhere again, it's good way to see the new world we will be living in

And visiting isn't really to painful if you're level 50 and can kill mostly everything in the world.

Hopefully there'll be less placeholder mobs much over level 50 in the new world so it'll be easier to explore. There's really no reason for it until there's a level cap increase.

It's no big secret 1.0 was highly unfinished, so it was probably more work than it was worth to redo every area of the map when the new team came in. Once they started adding content to certain areas, that's when they made minor revisions to monster levels and such.

I think it's a good idea that we all have to explore ARR. Makes sense to do so.

My body is crying from the scars I received trying to obtain all those locations.
Although, re-discovering all the newer location makes it a leveled playing field for everyone.

What happened to the days of Final Fantasy where the world doesn't really open up to instant travel until you've reached the end? I love that. Make the grunts travel by foot/bird !
