    Teleportation in ARR

    Good evening!

    I know some of you are wondering what is going to happen with your existing teleport locations when ARR is launched. We were able to gather some information and give you the latest scoop!

    Aetheryte locations will be completely remapped in 2.0 and they will lose their power as a part of the transition into A Realm Reborn. As a result, aetheryte attunement will be reset systematically and you will not be able to teleport all locations at the launch of ARR.

    As for why this is happening to the aetherytes?

    It's is actually an interesting part of the storyline!

    I don't know why I always get my hopes up when I see those magical "Click to Show" buttons on community rep posts Feels like they rarely contain any real info.

    Oh I'll definitely be able to update it, it's just seeing the route SE is taking with this game, I don't think anyone will need it. It's a shame too, since gate hunting was so fun for me.

    that's good, even people with all level 50 will still need to go visit everywhere again, it's good way to see the new world we will be living in

    poor you! you will need to explore the new world on feet/chocobo/plane/boat first! sounds awful!
    SE is really cruel for you!

    I think they should have made option for some people to stay in 1.0 since it seems to be so great here and let people who want to explore new place going to 2.0
