Relic quest. The time limit possiblities

Leo Vanhalen here, wondering hopefully about my chance of completing the relic quest b4 2.0. My pre nov 1st goal is my "Stardust Rod" and i just wanted to see what people think about the possibilty of completing the relic quest b4 then.
About where i am now. 1ve got 7/9 hamlet seals atm nd just need 2 from aleport, which i will get since im planning to be #1 next time it goes into defense mode.

My social linkshell is "Relic", which is probably one most of you would have seen if u play in gugnir, nd my endgame ls is "Moogle Kings". In MK, im the only one really gunning for the relic, nd in my social ls, all the people who are interested are way too ahead of me.

So, just wondering. what do people think the chances of getting a relic are b4 nov 1st?. I await your "hopefully" positive reponses. lol. ^^

Even in the most active linkshell, assuming first time run successes on everything, and shared farming on beast coins, you're still probably looking at 1-2 weeks of shared effort for a static party all getting their first relic. And trust me, if you haven't witnessed Ifrit extreme, that alone will probably double this estimate (at least, likely more).

Started Ifrit X around Sept 25th? Static has only gotten a good week since then of solid practice due rl commitments, and we've just barely started being able to survive 3rd hellfire.


AV/CC 17 min runs are "easy" if you go with people who know what they are doing, and have done normal speed runs regularly.

Sometimes i honestly think people exaggerate about how hard ifrit extreme is. But i suppose i wont understand until i start wiping on it myself, lol. I'm sure i could get the time attacks down if i can find a static to spam dungeons with over the weekend. I know a couple of pple in gugnir who are close to me on the relic quest so looking forward to teaming up. ^^.
It is starting to look like a static would be essential for this tho, especially with nov 1st looming closer.

Unless you have a static, i doubt u can finish it.

I don't know how good your linkshells are, but you can absolutely finish a relic in the time left under the right circumstances. It took my LS around 17 days from the time we finished hamlets to the time we got our first Ifrit X win, and that included learning 17mins for the first time plus several off days in there. With experience though you can do a relic in 3-4 days no problem. Either way, there's enough time left under the right conditions.
