Logitech G110 Keyboard

Having some issues with my Logitech G110 Keyboard and this game. My computer will randomly quit receiving any input from my keyboard while playing the game. The backlighting will continue to work just fine, and the music controls will work as well. But anything else will not work. I have to unplug and replug the keyboard into my computer. I have zero issue with any other game, though. Any ideas?

I'm going on a guess here, and think that something is stealing focus from FFXIV in your case.
Are you playing in Windowed mode ?
Does the control come back when you click somewhere on the FFXIV window ?
If you are able to go to another program, are you able to use your keyboard there ?
Does the "Windows-Key" still do what it's supposed to do ? (bring up the Start-Menu)
We'll first need to see if these are possible, before we can look further into the problem.

I have a merc zboard keyboard and I have the same issues as you. But it happens randomly. Sometimes once in like 5 hours. And I need to unplug and plugin back. I have a feeling it is OS or hardware compatibility issue. I'm using windows 7 x64. Before that I was using another hardware with windows xp x64 and had no issues. Since I moved to new hardware I had this. It's not really game breaking for me as it does not happen often. I can still type during the problem but my macros dun work.

For you, the keys dun work at all or only your macros?

Nothing works.

And the keyboard doesn't work with anything whatsoever when it happens. Worse part is if I'm running/hitting a key when it happens, it continues sending that input and my character will continue running (if that's the key pressed.) Which would be very fun in boss fights. X.X

(And yes, I'm running in Windowed. Nothing that I know of is stealing focus from it, since I'm using ShiftWindow and it remains in the "fullscreen".)

That's strange indeed. any driver updates? or try to switch USB ports? Hmm you did mentioned that other games are ok. That's very weird.....

It is. I updated the drivers before a while ago and it worked for a couple weeks... Then the issues returned.

I'd still like to confirm that it still doesn't do anything if you click inside the window to see if it works then.
If not, try using a different USB port (but make sure you use one on the back side of your PC).
One last thing I could suggest to try, is to close the Logitech G-Key profiler program (assumes the G110 also uses it)
You won't be able to use the G-keys probably, but it just might help.
If that doesn't help, then I'm afraid you'll gonna have to knock at the Logitech forum's door to maybe find a answer.
But in any way, my G19 doesn't have any problems at all (and that basically the same as your G110, but with a added LCD display)

Yeah. I have actually clicked the window to check it. And tried opening the Steam overlay in the game. No luck. =/

hate to say this, but it's actually a common issue if you google around. seems the keyboard is actually incompatible with certain hardware/software combinations. and kinda points back to the usb port on the kb itself /shrug... ive dealt with it by placing it in my front usb port and if it goes out i just pull and reinsert. probably will just replace with 710

Weird, I have a G110 at home and I've never had any issues like that before. I've even set up some of the key macros to run in-game macros without a problem. I run Windows 7 Home 64 bit if that helps any. As Nicco pointed out though, it could be there is a known issue with those keyboards and you might have a faulty one.
