Actually I'm quite happy with this redomination. Simple reason with the start of 2.0 you will be able to make huge amounts of gil in the first weeks cause of all what we have read in this thread.

Maybe we loose abit of the wealth maybe not, doesnt matters cause its for everyone but aslong ppl pay the crazy prices at start some of us will get some of the gils back

Did anyone ever think about the following:
Player A 900'000'000 -->90'000'000 Loss: 810'000'000
Player B 90'000'000 -->9'000'000 Loss: 81'000'000

This means that the more money you actually have now the more buying power you loose, also the more playtime gets nullified. I can understand that some people get angry and dissapointed when they think about the time they spent with the main purpose of aquiring money and now they just loose it and get nothing out if it.
For the overall market this may be positiv but for the individual that looses that money its much more then just everyone same percentual loss for everyone.
Would anyone think its funny to build a house for a year, then I come and destroy it telling you we need to even the missbalance, your house was to big compared to that other guys house. So his stays, yours gets totaly destroyed. You can spend that year again to build it.
Basically SE made an error, now they try to balance it out hurting the players that put more effort into getting financally well.

Read the thread or one of the 100 other ones about this topic and you will find enough arguments, and your argument with the foreign language just shows us that your just a troll...

I've read severell sites of this topic and some of the other topics about the same prblem and no where I ever saw someone saying anything about what I've brought up. Which doesn't say it never was brought up.

The argument that the buying power is the same in 2.0 does not counter the argument that the more money you aquired the more time you spent in the game doing that you are loosing with this. Nor does it break the argument that someone that invested more time into getting money looses more then one that invested less.

And please elaborate about how it's making me a troll that english is not my native langauge...Or that I, a bit less nicely put, told KiriA500 to shut the fuck up, about a spelling error I made in a foreign language, that has nothing to do with the topic, and that he can talk back to me if he does bether.

I don’t think its fair for those of you with large or capped amounts of Gil to have to see your hard earned money taken away from you. You should not put up with this kind of crap from SE any longer! Why not all band together, show SE how you feel by not returning for ARR, stick it to the man, I say!

Oh and if you’re not going to be using you’re account, I’d welcome you to drop some of that Gil my way (before or after 2.0), thanks.

I really find it mind-boggling how some people come up with stuff... Show me where on the last few pages anyone talks about "hard work" please.
Let's assume someone did for the moment. Doesn't change anything.
So people invested time for "hard work", as you put it to earn money. So they actually could afford stuff they needed to invest time into the fun, or as you propably would call it, the "not so hard work" part.
No one cares if it was the time invested in a fun part or work like part that gets lost, the problem is something gets taken away.
The more time you invested the more you loose.
Basically it's the same why taxes are not fixed (at least in those countrys I know more then nothing about taxes) at the same percent values. The tax % values differ depending on your income.

PS @Viion: what you think or don't think is irrelevant. Every price in the game's economy will be changed to fit the redenomination. That's all that matters.
Player-set prices will be decided by the market. Overpriced items compared to what people have will stay unsold, and prices will naturally adjust accordingly. Prices are always decided by the market through offer and demand. Reducing the cash people have influences the demand radically, and as such, by a basic principle of economy, will also influence prices.
