What are Faded Pages and can I still use them?

I'm cleaning out my retainers and I got 7 faded pages from the past.

Can I still use this when the event has past..?

What's the purpose of it?

How do I use it?

What are Deaspected Crystal's used for? Which I also got from the event.

Let me know if I should keep them or toss them if there useless now.

30 deaspected crystals gets you the Red Onion helm from the NPC in Grid.
Faded pages are long past use. You used to be able to turn them in for an achievement or something when Zuiz Amriyo would pop in town.
