Fix Hamlet Please?

No, I understand your point now. And again, I apologize for misunderstanding earlier. What I am still going to stand firm on is that it remain as is. You can still achieve the results you desire by hitting top 3 for stage 1 (I believe). The nice thing is that being in the top 3 actually enhances your odds, too. By this reasoning, the fact that top 3 is easier to achieve than before means that, in essence, the content that you seek is technically more accessible.

Again, if the case that you cannot achieve the same items as a top 3 in tier 1 versus a standard tier 2 is correct then disregard my argument. Either way, as I said before, the system is crap to begin with and this is probably because it was an afterthought.

No problem. You are still misunderstanding one point though. Yeah, top 3 is more accessible, but that does not solve the issue. Top 3 is more accessible but the Hamlet never changes to Rank 2. If you go into a Rank 1 Hamlet you have like almost no chance to get Militia gear/gathering hats to drop or random extra seals from the box. People still want Militia gear, but good luck getting any if the Hamlets keep staying Rank 1. You open the chest from a highest point possible Rank 1 Hamlet and it gives you little coloured star fireworks...... :/ So this is why people will not do a Rank 1. It is difficult enough to get the Militia gear and gathering gear drops in a Rank 2, a lot of the pieces are rare. So no one is going to bother wasting their time going to a Rank 1.

Is it still possible to obtain the score required? What is the modifier for rank 2 vs rank 1? Sorry, I stopped doing Hamlet a while ago and also have very little experience with rank 1.
