Meh all in all the only one I want is the Pan

As has been said, crafters have it easy, its the gathering tools that are really time consuming.
And as others have said they are designed as trophy items, to show off, "look at ma shiny" however they are usable for example if someone cannot be bothered to double meld luminary is still acceptable.

Don't dare u to make them good SE, or I'll have to craft like mad, losing my time to get them.
Please don't.
Thank you
Honestly, who cares about the stats of high level crafting tools?
If you use that class for synthing an item < level 40: Hasty Hand works with any tool.
If you use that class for synthing an item > level 40: 4x progress ability like in Hamlet and you will never fail, too.
No matter if luminary tool or triple meld - both are just status items.

Real Life > FFXIV

I'm not sure what the problem is with watching a movie and gathering

Maybe im just specuizl
But to stay effective gathering I cant look away without missing some items.
Crafting you can just hit the enter button over and over again. Or if its a lower level enter up arrow enter to get your hasty hands done.
Crafting is significantly easier, and faster to do while not paying attention - in my opinion.
@Antipika
Yeah while I wrote that post I thought you were saying something else, then I realized you weren't. So i modified some of the sentences to say that we have similar points. Synthesis is easier then gathering BUT also that gathering achievement requires more work in the first place, so its a double wammy.
They're gold, and larger than normal tools.. so they are better regardless of stats!
2.0 is mixing everything up. For all anyone knows, they could suddenly become marginally better than double melds.
