I see us getting less anima in 2.0. Mainly because areas will be smaller and easyer to travel to spots on foot and on chocobo.
Fairly sure anima will remain as is in ARR. Any changes will likely be minimal. They've got something good in place.
The anima system is a joke.
As a WHM, I can probably cast Holy, 1000 times today, but I can only port to 3 different locations, cuz my anima is <12.
For those of you who can't grasp the correlation, MOVE ALONG PLEASE nothing to see here
Hmm, well Anima does have the advantage. However nobody rides the ferry or Airships for that matter. There is too much Anima and for a well balanced economy. YOu must have a good amount of use for things to do. Rent more chocobos, different colors for one. I remember on FFvii that all the chocos were all different colors. What happened? Anima is for kids. Give me a break, I like to ride the land of Eorzea can i teleport to the mall, lol no you cant....Get over it ride or walk. Anima is a bread for you to get somewhere quick, yet this runs out after a few short trips. Limit Anima to ten points. Why have that many? The point is to play and go on the land. Yet who takes the ferry or Airship for that matter? Stop being lazy. I really think the economy is crazy in FFxiv, there is no challenge. What is the challenge??? Its a joke. The whole idea of playing is to survive. Hmm okay so I say to my friend. Can you spare 65000+, hmm damn i have this allready? Make jobs in town only. Dont make the Levequest the most money. The end weapon is ridiculous, also Lv 1 - LV 49 your gonna spend 40,000-max for something, usually occasionally 120,000. But for a End Weapon that is greeen 10000000000000000000000000000000, what??? and 2000000000000000 400000000000000000000 Economy is screwed, lol what is that craziness. hm Cloud Strife weapon Lv 99 oh treasur chest free, Thank God. RememberBasically what the subject says. I'am desperately hoping for a revamp in some way, shape or form. Anything along the lines of reduction in time it takes to generate fresh anima, amount of fresh anima regenerated per tick, addition of content SOLELY devoted to the replenishment of one's anima supply. Any or all of the previous things will do nicely, but as the system stands now, it needs serious work(Like much of the rest of the game).
Bastok
I've given up ever trying to understand what Bastok tries to say.
I can read the words, but no meaning emerges.
Here's what I would personally love for anima mechanics:
Get rid of anima. Place an NPC at every camp's crystal that charges gil to teleport you to any other crystal in that region(As in, no going from Thanalan to The Black Shroud). You would only be able to go from camp to camp (Including the crystal in town) instead of teleporting from any location. Each camp requires a license before you can port, requiring a quest (or quest line) to be completed, and no porting others to camps they don't have the license for.
This system would promote exploration, create a decent gil sync, not completely invalidate the need for other forms of transportation like trains and ships because they'd still be needed for going from region to region (Or by walking, of course) as well as alleviate the annoyance of running low on anima
God forbid your character has to walk somewhere...or do hamlet for 100 anima.
They have given us multiple ways to recover anima that are very easy and still people bitch about it...
