Off the subject of your analogy, I'd take appropriate triple IV melds on +1 Cobalt over Darklight anyday. People just like to say Darklight is better because of the social status attached to it. Also, Darklight is cheaper because it's free.

Anyways back to the subject, I was more arguing the cost effectiveness of the 2. For what you would pay for in a Mac PC you can get better in a non-Mac PC and be able to make the same upgrades far cheaper. This is only one point. If you feel inclined to throw your money away so you can have an icon on your computer monitor shaped like a bitten apple, feel free.



7 is Vista fixed. The reason Vista is horrible is not present in 7. This is coming from someone who doesn't like Windows OS.

What was "fixed"? Both seem to run like crap to me but I don't know.. I have to compare that with what I know and I have experience with pretty much any operating system you could name and many you couldn't. My biggest complaint about windows is that it allows the user to pollute and slowly destroy the operating system.. this is why new installs run so much better on Windows. Other OS's don't really have this problem. On Linux or Solaris for example.. every single time you log into it.. unless you make a change it is exactly the same level of performance as last time and will run this way till the hardware gives out.

You know how to tell your hardware is failing in Solaris? It crashes. In windows this is just an indication that it hasn't been rebooted in 3 days. lol

The Windows Mojave testing told Microsoft that what was wrong with Vista was.. nothing. and btw. 8 is worse.. 8 will kill Microsoft.
