Hea AmyNeudaiz, Macs *are* better. You'll have to just face it. The system design (mostly due to Darwin/Mach/FreeBSD) is superior. The UI implementation is superior.

Saying they are more expensive is like saying Cobalt is better than Dark Light because it's cheaper.

Off the subject of your analogy, I'd take appropriate triple IV melds on +1 Cobalt over Darklight anyday. People just like to say Darklight is better because of the social status attached to it. Also, Darklight is cheaper because it's free.

Anyways back to the subject, I was more arguing the cost effectiveness of the 2. For what you would pay for in a Mac PC you can get better in a non-Mac PC and be able to make the same upgrades far cheaper. This is only one point. If you feel inclined to throw your money away so you can have an icon on your computer monitor shaped like a bitten apple, feel free.

You know that 7 is Vista re branded and touched up, right? Same core system.

7 is Vista fixed. The reason Vista is horrible is not present in 7. This is coming from someone who doesn't like Windows OS. Let me say it again for extra clearity. I hate Windows, it's crap.
