mmm.. it could be.. What if it takes one or two developers to change the build scripts to compile under Winelib to make an unofficial client? Opening up that market could be profitable depending on the end quality.Lastly, I reread your OP and okay fair enough, you said in the future but it still doesn't really exempt you from my statement. Again, you latch on to these little mistakes I make and don't focus on the core message which is, having a Mac client is unnecessary because the player base for Mac is tiny and not profitable.
I mean it already runs.. the hard works been done by the Wine Project.. we just need a package to make it click-install easy.

This is an argument that is going nowhere so I will make just this last point and wash my hands of it. Blizzard, ArenaNet, Steam, EA, Activision; what these companies have in common is that they are making an ever increasing attempt to make their games available on Macs. Steam has even reported that placing games on Macs has seen their sales go up by 20%. So you say it is not profitable, but every major gaming company disagrees.Lastly, I reread your OP and okay fair enough, you said in the future but it still doesn't really exempt you from my statement. It might as well have been![]()
If it really doesn't take that little effort, then fair enough.mmm.. it could be.. What if it takes one or two developers to change the build scripts to compile under Winelib to make an unofficial client? Opening up that market could be profitable depending on the end quality.

Sorry, but after reading the angry Mac user posts in here, all I can surmise is
ITT: Buyer's Remorse
Im not even against Mac OSX, but the amount of angry Mac users in this thread is staggering.
Maybe, they're angry because PC users started attacking them for no reason on the first page of this thread.
I fail to see the logic in NOT wanting a version for the Mac. Are people really afraid it will tie up SE resources, causing SE to release a POS game ? LoL
Can't we all just get along?
OMFG I can't believe I tried to help you with your video card issue /slap <me>
I don't play on a Mac, I don't even own a Mac , I have a desktop (my main rig), and a "gaming" laptop, and a iPad (but I don't think I'd want to play it on that lol)
You have 500+ posts and you want me to search thru them? I have better things to do with my time, like replying to stupid posts like yours.

Actually there was only one or maybe two people who claimed to have owned a Mac and said they disliked it; which is fine by me. Some people prefer Windows based PCs, others Linux, and then some who like good ole OS X.
