Today's update on "Changes to Existing Items and Monetary System..." answers a lot of our questions. Thanks!

However, with the loss of about 75 Inventory Slots (Player Inventories from 200 -> 100, but gaining 25 more slots on our Retainer) - or possibly less - there are some follow-up concerns and questions that would be great to get clarified:

  • Will *all* Jobs/Classes have their own "Gear Set" that removes the current equipped gear from counting towards their Inventory Limit? So, will we have a Gear Set for Botanist (and all equipment for that removed from inventory), a Gear Set for Warrior, White Mage, etc.? For all Crafting, Gathering and War / Magic Classes? I thought in the Live Letter III Video that there was mention of only... 3? Sets?
  • Will we still have 2 Retainers (Free) per Character in 2.0?
  • Will we able to purchase Additional Retainers for a (hopefully) small fee in 2.0?
Or if the answer is "No" to all of the above, I'd just ask for some consideration when doing Recipe Adjustments for 2.0, to reduce the number of materials in various synths (most notably Culinarian), where you have lots of materials needed (e.g.,

This is besides those of us that help Craft and Gather for friends and LS, where we carry materials for multiple Crafts (Carpenter, Leatherworker, Clothcraft, Alchemist (Potions, etc.)), etc.

I realize those that are light on their feet will just say "Anyone with a storage problem is just pack-ratting" (and while that's partially true for some), for others it's carrying a variety of HQ (and NQ) Mats to help others down the line, Alternate Builds for Jobs, or various Materia for attempting Double and Triple Melds, storing all 9 types of Beast Coins for future Relics, etc.

Since we got some initial info on Item / Inventory changes today, it'd be nice to get some clarification so we can fully understand how drastic a reduction we are going to be faced with, and also a better understanding if we gain additional methods to offset that (like purchasing additional Retainers), etc.
