multiple windows is definitely a must and so are tabs IMO. But i'd want more then just background colors. We need texturized backgrounds, some design on the edges, contrasting tones... better designed buttons. They need to change the layout too....

U know... just make it more attractive. Isn't making things look pretty SE's specialty?
