    The only reason you need to justify player bazaars: rolanberry fields.

    No one in their right mind would check a bazaar under the pretense that their would be something to buy. Everyone knows it's for storage or epeen purposeses.

    You are. I also hated going out to batallia just to find the less common items that people were selling (everyone says rolanberry but on my server it was batallia), which is why I couldn't possibly have been happier when people moved back into town after the removal of jeuno taxes. Still, I would have rather had people putting that stuff on the ah instead.
