Actually, that never stopped the issue in FFXI, it won't here. Maybe you never played that game and saw the bazaars full of heart chocolates and important items they placed in their bazaar for 99999999 gil because they "didn't want to lose them."

Nope, because my server was the smart server and everyone moved back inside town where they should have been in the first place. And even among the people bazaaring in that matter, people still had shit up for 9999999. Often all their other stuff is sold and you end up checking a bunch of people who have bazaar icons up but don't really have anything for sale which is really annoying. Besides that, you can't use the search function on bazaars so its a lot harder than just using the market which is why everyone does it that way.
