Oh you have no idea. Kai was one of the rotten people from Adrenaline LS back when there was still a Bodhum server. I still remember how he forbid some of my friends from that LS from rezzing my pt just cause "If your pt were X LS (to not give out bad rep to the other LS, though I'm sure you know who I mean) you wouldn't raise us" even though we had helped Adrenaline many times before. Not to mention I know a good amount of people from Rare Ex that admit what a total a-hole Kai is.I guess he will never stop being an elitist~ In any case, Runic's post about recruitment is a lot more presentable. No need to boast about your LS cause it really does give out a bad image. The LS is good, that's for sure, but just keep in mind the people you'll be dealing with.

Why was runic's post more presentable and less cocky? How was my post cocky? If the words Ill let my website do most of the talking is cocky, I don't even know how to respond to that. Runic said our relic count, same as me. So please tell me how his post was any different from mine? If you are referring to one of the top 2 NA linkshells on the server I will stick by those comments. I give credit where credit is due and Legacy is the other top NA shell on our server. As far as im concerned they are the only other true NA endgame shell. There are some others out there that get some things done but most of them are mainly socials that just do events, some are better than others. Im sure not everyone agrees but again that's just my opinion. There are all kinds of great foreign shells but im strictly talking NA ones. So if this makes me cocky then so be it ><

The posting in Excalibur as per the rules would suffice. Again, regardless of which subforum, clicking on New Posts displays all of the latest. It is the proper way, ever for cross-server recruiting.

Your actions are considered spam and are obviously intentional to make up for people not noticing otherwise.

Blue Garter has their recruitment post up, also cross-server, but only on their server's subforum. They've got no trouble getting apps. If my shell was so hot, I wouldn't spam it across every server subforum.

This is all very true,but, there are plenty of ways to say when I'm doing miserably while still being completely honest, so no it's not about whether you tell me that I'm doing great while I'm not.

I'm really sure there are great LS members there. So not just one person defines the entire LS, but when said person is the one asking for recruitment and already has bad rep (with plenty of people, trust me), it does give out a bad image since he is speaking for the entire LS not to mention how he posted for recruitment. Would've been nicer if you were the first person to make the post about recruitment, and as Dargoth said, I too believe a pretty neat idea that you're trying to go for cross server recruitment, although seeing how the game is months away from re-launch it may be a bit too early, not that there's anything wrong with that.

And last but not least, it's not about keeping a grudge, that's not why I posted against him at all, it's about. It's about the fact that it seems this person hasn't changed his ways (his actions,the ways he treats people, etc.), making people not want to do content with -him-.Just saying that his post turned a lot of possible recruits off, even though you guys still got applications. Skills don't always matter more than personality. Get your pt in a very unpleasant mood, and people will stop enjoying the content. As you said you guys are here to get it done, but you can enjoy it while doing it as well.You can be hardcore and still have fun. But yea, I know, I know. Not every LS is for everyone.


tl;dr version: you shouldn't have let Kai be the OP in charge of recruitment, those who know him and had bad experiences won't bother, most of those who don't know him and read his post won't bother either, as you can tell by the replies. It's not just me.

Well considering I am the leader and built this shell I am going to be the one that post. I have a bad rep because I tell players when they are bad, and I actually kick players/reject apps unlike 95% of shells in this game. You have never played with me so for you to say all of these things is just ridiculous. To be honest your probably right that most "Casual" players view me as an elitest asshole because in all honest I don't much care what others think. I play games to win and get through content and while not everyone likes it, I get things done, as in the case of RareEx. I'm sure there are a lot of members that I have kicked from RareEx because they just simply weren't good enough, so they probably do hate me. Im not here to baby players and try to be best friends with them. I am great friends with most of all the people in my shell. Plain and simple, if your a good player and you come in, im sure we will get along great. If your a bad player, you will probably hate my guts along with most others in the linkshell, but in my opinion you shouldn't of applied if you weren't ready. You were just asking to be cut because you were trying to get into something that is way over your head.

If I turned possible applicants off then I probably didn't want them anyways. You skill doesn't always matter more than personality, maybe to you it does, but to me it doesn't. I would rather have someone cocky as hell but a great player than a decent player who is really cool and funny. I would rather play with a group of people I don't like as long as we are getting this done versus a bunch of my friends but we never get anything done. Our linkshell has a blast, we enjoy doing the content and everyone gets along great doing it. If you don't my attitude of winning then you won't like the attitude of my linkshell because that is what it is, but truthfully when you are clearing content at a very fast rate, running every single night you develop very good friendships along the way.

I am not here to be peoples best friend. I am here to be a leader. If you don't like me tough, but to say you shouldn't have let kai be in charge of recruitment is funny. I know exactly what I want and want to say. I have led very successful linkshells going back to early final fantasy 11. Who do you think made this shell and recruited all the of people we have? I know what im looking for and the people posting in this forum isn't it. Its obvious that none of you have any experience being in a very serious endgame shell in any game. Yes and blue garter posted theirs in the general forum as it was moved to the durandal sub forum. Like I said before if this bothers you then please report my post and a mod will delete it if I did anything wrong. Most players simply don't check other forums outside of their own server since we cant server transfer yet.

about relics, who cares? theire not worth the time and money it takes to get them, "they will be useless in the upcoming expansion pack", sure they can be nice to use in crystal tower ... to get new weapons thats better rather doing a custom triple meld for half the time and price for now[/B][/B] :P
