    Flippin' the widgets, yo'

Whilst I do appreciate our new and updated UI there is something that has always bothered me about our current one.

Something that hasn't quite been mentioned yet... or at least to my limited knowledge.

We are currently unable to flip our widgets which have a knock-on effect in regards to customised UIs. Is this trend going to continue in 2.0?

A perfect example of this would be our current party bar that players normally sit on the right side of their screen. Whilst this can be moved wherever the player would like it to be shifted to there are some places it is better suited to than others.

Let's say you wanted to place your party on the left side of your screen. You can now clearly see names, HP, MP and buffs and they're all happily tucked into that one spot you felt they were destined to sit in.

All's fair and good until you're in AV and Miser forgot to brush her teeth. What's that, Miser? Bad Breath? Bam! Suddenly every single debuff in existence has managed to weld themself to your tank and any silly Monks that felt that that particular moment in time was perfect for a Pummel. Now you can't see which buffs and debuffs your tank actually has, they're just so many that they've gone off of the screen shrouding whatever ailments your tank is suffering and leaving you to make an educated guess.

Please allow us to flip our UI widgets. Perhaps even allows us to rotate them so that our Experience points bar isn't always sitting across the top or the bottom.

The current tools available to us regarding our UI leads down several different paths however they all end at the same dictated destination.
This is 2012, please give the community the tools to freely choose how to customise the screen they spend the majority of their waking hours glaring at.

Yeah I agree with this, even though I prefer to have the party to the right of my screen, it just feels more easier on my eyes.

The ailments need to be bigger or something too, its not very friendly but when you are playing in 2560x1440 like me, I love more desktop real estate but overall the UI is a little strenuous on the eyes and I don't wear glasses either.

I do like the look of the new UI for sure I just hope it scales to different resolutions.

I would like more options though, I'm a big fan of filters and the logs. I prefer to read the text, so being able to set certain filters in different colours or make them flash/glow would be great as well.

My main concern is getting proper raid frames. If we get content for 16-24 players, the current party monitor won't work. Flipping something that is poorly designed will not change anything.

Buffs (and especially debuffs) should be tracked more easily by using colour codes if possible or symbols that stands out.

SE should just revise the whole party widget and buff/debuffs part completely.
