Gil to Crysta conversion

With all these people saying no one is losing gil or your gonna have 1/10 of what you currently have on you, trying to justify prices being too high, or what not, make a gil to crysta NPC, where you can trade in game currency for game credits to keep playing the game. If SE is looking for a way to reduce the total amount of gil on each server, then have a spot where you can take your character in game put gil in and after a certain amount is put in, it starts adding crysta to your account. Go by they're 1/10 rate so if you have 99,999,999 and turn in 1/10 you get 9,999 crysta credits.

no. this has been said before and it will 1) make se lose money, 2) make se lose players, 3) let YOU play for free the next 10 years.

They'd make no money off this project... and then the game would suffer. Its not their intention to do a free 2 play, so there is no reason to do this, and honestly I hope they don't.

Uhhh, your character will still be here even if you don't put any crysta in. They're not going to delete it just 'cause you go inactive for a while.

You can't even setup payment for 2.0 yet.

huuh... how about you would prefer to stash your gils when you arent there and generate income?
because from what i understand you want to improve the servers by reducing the digits.....but if you meant CRYSTA from real life money no
but if you mean crystals.. for synthesis.. that can make sense... if you like crafting... i dont... so.... lol

Well, I can't give you a guarantee since I've seen no official information regarding how long they retain inactive characters, but it would be pretty stupid on their part to delete inactive accounts so quickly. As we're currently transitioning into 2.0, they're going to want as many people to return as possible, and shouldn't be deleting any accounts.

But like I said, it is currently impossible to set up payment for 2.0 yet anyway, so it doesn't even matter.
