    game has a directx issues when i turn off my monitor

    i recently upgraded my computer, it has a 40 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 , i'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to these things, so im sorry if i dont word things right, lol

    If you are using an HDMI or DVI cable with Windows 7, Windows will resize your screen every time it loses connection to your monitor (down to 1024x768, from what I've seen), this includes when you power the monitor down. Resizes are one of the number of things that FFXIV cannot handle properly.

    Don't turn your monitor off while you're using the game. This issue will hopefully be resolved in 2.0.

    this problem has been here all the time ^^ as long as alt+tab crashes you, this will also happen :P
