    Upcoming Schedule of Operation and Billing Procedures...

    My characters were cancelled and end date was today Sept. 30th, and it says if end date is Sept 30th or after ya play free, so why is my 3 characters charged then cancelled and I can not re activate now?

    "If the listed “End Date” is September 30, 2012 or after (Including a free trial period)
    You will be able to play for free until services for the current FINAL FANTASY XIV end.


    If the listed “End Date” is September 29, 2012 or before (Including a free trial period)
    Please check the status of your characters under the “Active Options” on the “Options List” page"

    Final Fantasy billing is as opaque as always. Not quite sure if I am not understanding their change to billing or I was unlucky by a few hours. LOL

    The biggest problem about the ending date being 30th September is that it's probably 30th September in Japan. And since it doesn't tell you at which time of the day your account got activated, you can't even convert it to JST to check =/

    Well if ya look at the time of billing it is not in JST time it is in PST, at midnight PST, and I am in EST, so 3 am EST
    and at 3 am EST my account was cancelled, it says free to play if account end is Sept 30th or after and my account end was today Sept 30th, but I was charged and because I was 15 Crysta short my 3 characters were all cancelled so how is it free when I am charged?
    and I can not re activate to play since they stopped that also at 3 am EST (midnight PST), from being able to re activate, activate or anything

    Contacting customer support would be a lot quicker and more effective than complaining on the forums.

    I can't even tell if i'm reading their billing changes correctly. CS can tell me everything is correct even if it was wrong. Heh. No way for me to reliably get a strait answer.

    Yeah much better to come complain to the forums, where there's absolutely no one that can help you (because even the community managers here have nothing to do with billing), than trying to call customer support, where there's a very solid possibility someone can indeed help you.

    Yeah, I see how that would work.
