well that's odd.

sounds like a resource optimization thing. there was a topic going around and someone had a script written that would keep FFXIV as top priority on your resource list. If you google this you should be able to find it. it was an old old topic.

try DLing a windower and switching to full screen.

if you're already in full screen i have no idea what to tell you.
