My Bard AF and Monk AF cosplay progress :)

Okaaay, i have a little news... the good news is that my bard AF is completely finished now i added the last few details and it's ready to rock this week n_n

The bad news is that due to complications i'd rather not discuss the monk AF is being pushed back to may. (don't worry, it's not a relationship issue)

So here are some quick snaps i took after completion, i'm going to arrange a shoot and put up lots of pics i get from the convention


To finish I added the shoes which I painted and sewed on the tassels on the left hand side, and sewed the gems onto the back. I know the costume isn't 100% and there are a couple of teeny details missing but as a first costume I think i've done pretty well (I'm hiding my face because I have a little bit of an eye infection good news is it's almost healed )

In terms of the ringbands, i've opted for painting them on my arms on the day, i've done a couple of trial runs and they seem to look pretty good the metallic paint i'm using really makes them stand out In terms of a weapon however, it's looking like another project for may, unless i can purchase one at the convention. I'll have to see.
