I was expecting to come in here and disagree with at least something, but nope, I approve all of them!

SE would save a lot of money if they let the Players be the developers/producers, ya know the people willing to pay to play, but a produce who has no clue what he's doing.

    Mark/Hunter Board from FF12

The board could give you information about an NM and tell you where it spawns, but leave it up to the player to deduce what exactly they need to do to spawn it. The NM's themselves should be interesting to fight, using unique abilities and having traits or trademarks. . . .

    The Addition of Triple Triad
    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...Do-you-like-it

I don't agree with all of the original ideas in this post, but I think Triple Triad would be amazing as a side-option for fun!

    More good ideas links

As always, click the link for the full version.

Cutriss had a pretty good "laundry list"of ideas pertaining to general UI tweaks. The note about status animations was good too.

In addition to a prominent "Command failed for reason XYZ" error on-screen, it would be helpful if the player-characters could animate in such a way as to show visible status ailments. If they're asleep, they should be kinda slouched and have some animated z's bubbling up from their heads, or the classic Japanese snot bubbles. If they're bound, show some arcane energy extending from the ground wrapping around their feet. If they're slowed, render the battle animations at a slower speed, and if hasted, faster. I think the idea is clear.

Buy Items Straight From the Item Search Menu

4: if you want to buy something you search the item search feature and purchase it directly from that menu. They money goes to that players retainer.
5: you pick up your Gil from the retainer bell after your item sold.

this way would keep the market wards working exactly how they already do, just without the constant zoning and without searching for the retainer with the item your looking for. Also you wouldn't have to run back and forth between your retainer and the door to check the prices of what you want to sell.

Thoughts on implementing a system that "rewards effort and innovation", which is the devs' goal

in the "One to Fifty, One Zone" thread:

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ng-OP?p=174965

Poster Kiara gives a great suggestions in post #359 for ideas to give more variety to the areas you level up in (using already existing areas in game as a base)

*edit: O_o Holy crap! Three people beat me to it?!
