Id more prefer an intelligent drop system in the first place. RNG can go die in a fire, and all other systems relying on it.
But I really wouldnt mind getting my moogle / ifrit weapons - dont need them but I wanted to collect them. Have had horrible luck - _ -
No. Just no.
I liked both yes and no because I couldn't decide.
I also liked all the posters above me.

Nice idea Choc, though I won't vote for it. Cool idea but I think it may be better off just adding in a steady increase going from the start of October to the end where the closer to the end of the world it gets the better odds you'll start finding the really good stuff. Maybe it can stimulate people to do Primal runs more or try for Darklight gear. A 100% drop rate I would disagree on only because it feels as if that would cheapen the months of hard work others have put into getting these when someone can just run one attempt, get what they want and be done with it. It would be like handing out rare items to everyone like gil.
I'm in favor of a progressively increasing drop rate up to maybe 50-75% entering the final week before the game goes down.
It should always be consistent. RNG is ridiculous and really should die in a fire. But 100% drop for a specific time is silly too. They really just need a system where every time you kill it, you get a medallion and you can trade 10 medallions for a weapon or something. Keep the RNG too if you are so in love with it. If you hit the RNG lottery, instead of a medallion you get a random weapon. Everyone's happy.
Killing it multiple times to get dark matter is just silly. Its the biggest reason I don't even bother. I'm sure I am not alone there. Essentially primal fights/moogle fights are content the devs work on that is wasted on someone like me. Simply because of the the loot system.
I don't see it working with "current system limitations." To apply a simple fix they take servers down for like 2-3hrs in NA prime time. I'd suspect the same thing would happen for primal fights even if it does appear and should be a simple thing to add.Nice idea Choc, though I won't vote for it.
