8th disconnects within 20 minutes. Considering I'm a paying costumer, this is unacceptable.

Blah blah, I really hope you don't drive a vehicle to work and/or school. Shit happens honestly, especially with online services.

Btw, FFXIV is free as of today JST, so technically no you're not a paying customer.

Thats not really true. If you payed less than 29 days ago, youre still a paying customer.

You're no longer paying though by SE's regards as their cut off for actual pay to play is Sept 20th and anyone who lagged beyond that in payment their paid days goes towards ARR. So you can't really pull the "I'm a paying customer this is unacceptable" card, especially since server issues will happen in any MMO free or not. There's no such thing as perfection xD.

It's very obvious they've been gearing up for the relaunch and alpha tests so it's likely a cluster is affected, haven't had R0 or DC issues in Gungnir or Sarga, but I did notice a small bit of delay in certain zonelines last night so I don't think this cluster is affected.

Well, i payed for 30 days on the 16th of sept. until it hits oct 16, i'm a paying customer. The game is still running and they havent done their final save yet. people are still trying to get things done, it's not acceptible for them to just give up on the current servers given that. Tho i dont suspect they have just stopped caring about the current servers as you imply.
