Idk, he also said we'd get weekly updates after gamescom and alpha would be starting by now. So I don't fully doubt him, but at this point it's ok to admit that nothing seems to be on track anymore for them lol.

I recall a german rep even stating that beta was supposed to have been around november as well, but we now know it's Alpha.
