Huh, that's really interesting. It would be neat to see if and when ARR gets DirectX 11. Water and fire effects might/will look a lot different for when the game is later released. I remember how the fire looked when Khrimm (from the Gridania story) was lighting the tree on fire. That fire animation was N64 worthy.
