My idea, doesn't waist your time, you don't back track at all. And at the most you would only loss exp gain for like an hour or something. I don't know. Thats not that bad, better then re grinding for that hour on what you loss.

It's exactly the same waste of time. It just doesn't waste past time, but it still wastes future time. The effect is exactly the same as any experience-based death penalty, just concealed in a quite clumsy way.
Losing exp is waist of past and future time >.>. Thats just saying you should get ride of the weakened state, because that waist time as well. I like a death penalty, thats why im saying we should have one, makes the game for me, more fun. But thats my opinion, to each his own, right? Soo, what would you do then? Get rid of death all together? I wanna hear what you would want happen, not to bash my idea. Even though thats ok as well, as long as its constructive.

There's no need to propose anything. Yoshida already told what they're going to do. And I'm entirely satisfied with all the solutions he proposed. Exactly you can go take a shower in that time span. You have a choice, risk dieing again(going further into surplus) not die at all, or just sitting out for x amount of time. Death is a big thing. Not something you can be like... meh about. At least you can still progress. And what did yoshida say about death penalties?

Sorry, but you're falling in the logical fallacy that if someone doesn't agree with you he doesn't "Listen" (based on the presumption that you're right by default). I listen plenty, and I see entirely weak points based on the delusion that wasting time = challenge.
Looks like basically every MMO developer came to the same conclusion lately.

And yet they still make tons of money while you sit at home complaining about wasting time on a game. Every game has it, mmo or not and its worked for a very long time so you sir are the one failing. I never said penalties = challenge, neither did the OP. It is simply a mental deterence to make players work harder to stay alive instead of accepting death because they can still fight weakened without worry. That alone is silly and needs to be done away with.
