Similar monsters from FFXI to FFXIV? (examples)

The answer is the same now as it was when I played FFXI "It is cute, but it has to die". My kids didn't like me killing mandragora or those little seedling things... god they were cute, what were they called? Lets have those back too.

I would like to see naga back in some form or another.

MULTIPOST!! Also, I would LOVE to see Crawlers like those in XI. For some reason I really liked them. And we already have crawler cocoons in XIV, so where are the crawlers??

I liked the Elementals from FFXI; they looked more like the "aether" they should've been. Now they appear as spirit entities or pixies.

Have you noticed that the monsters we have currently in a lot of the starting areas (Opo-Opo, etc.) appeared in later zones in FFXI?

Kinda, but i guess that's how they planed it along with the Lv90 mobs that we cant beat lol.
