there is music mostly the battle music that has no place in the game sounds way to much like generic rock music, garuda has rock music but that not trying to capture the tone of the enviroment.
Shposhae battle music has music that fits in perfect and happy other areas is using it now and ARR seem to be using it on there gameplay demo they showed.
the music in the zones, boss fights , dungeons, citys, fine.
he only did the vanilla FFXI Naoshi Mizuta pertty much did everything else. just like here Uematsu only did 1.0 vanilla. in ARR im not sure till i see the credits or OST
/cry it sounds like some one lost thier binky lol just mute the game music and play your own or get the ff11 sound track and play that and have it on repeat and you can be happy
Am I the only one that likes having a couple different composers that work together? It makes one place to the next seem so varied.
(not that I dont like unified scores)
Man, nobody likes "electrical guitar blashpehy".
wait what does that even meeeaaannnn
7UP!
Actually I always thought the FFXI battle music was rather underwhelming, which I guess fits with the endless grinding, but still. I'm not asking for it to be as good as Decisive Battle from FFVI, but it should at least have a good melody that doesn't get old so fast.
Uh oh you said something critical about FFXI. You must be suicidal.
But yeah, some of XI's music was really underwhelming. Some great, some bad.
As soon as I read FFXI and music the theme for campaign battles popped into my head. For the love of god I just got that out of there. x_x
