    Broken until 2.0

With the down time coming, I figured I'd break my right wrist to prevent me from wanting to play so much. It sucks though, theres all sorts of pain involved, and it;s a 3 month healing time.

In all seriousness though, f- the 90 yr old geezer that pulled out in front of me on my motorcycle. had it not been ofr my helmet i'd be dead, and if not for my jacket i'd be covered in road rash. Be careful out there.

    See you in 2.0

90 year old people have no business driving. Good luck on your recovery.

You'd be surprised. There was a lady at my work who just retired earlier this year and she was 92. I left to go home one time and she went before me, but the roads were under construction so I had to take a detour. When I got back on the main road to my house, I was behind my 92 year old co-worker, and she LEFT before me! I didn't know that she drove that slow...

It's really refreshing to see that there is a biker out there that values safety gear whle riding. When I moved to the states I was so shocked to see that there are people that ride bikes everywhere, including the highway helmetless, in flip-flops and board shorts.
If they saw what happens to a body when it comes off a bike at 60+ mph without safety gear I think it might change their mind @_@.
Kudos to you dude and I wish you a speedy recovery!

There are some that don't wear the gear but definitely not all. My group almost all wear helmet/jacket, and all wear jeans/boots. Seems that it's mostly sport bike riders you see in shorts/flip flops, or at least more than you see on cruisers/touring bikes.

Thanks, just bummed that I can't handle a controller for so long, no games at all for me.

@ The chaps saying 90 is too old, I do know 1 lady who is 92, a customer at my shop and she's still mentally chipper and able to keep up no problems. She gloats that she can drive her truck better than me! (And she is right... pushbike ftw.)

And yes, not all the elderly drive poorly, but they should defintely start retesting at 70 or so, because a lot simply aren't there anymore, at least enough to drive. If they are ok they have nothing to worrry about. However Iknow elderly that don't care and drive anyway. they just stop renewing their license.

I had a broken wrist (hardcore taekwondo/hapkido training) that finished healing 3 weeks ago, so it was all summer, and it didn't prevent me from playing or working with computers (could handle a controller, but mouse + kb ftw!), still the weight of the plaster made my shoulder ache.

Good luck and I hope you heal as well as I do, as I have no sequels left!

My hand is encased though. No thumb movement as the radius impacted the scaphoid, a floater, and they both cracked. If I move my thumb it may move out of place so they had to immobilize my hand.
