so at the end it did not cost you a lot it just because did not work with it i don't know why you go on saying wireless when it called network last time i check you could not make ps2 wireless can you?

they had a wireless ps2/xbox game adptor. Meaning it worked with my wireless router. I had to buy a ps2 buy ffxi buy a wireless router and the adptor. it was 300+ dollors. Just so I can play for more then 2 hrs a day. Cuz the game got too time consuming to enjoy. And I didn't want to quit the game cuz I had just met my b/f : / and we played together.

To the op you can keep your sense of adventure since the aggro icon will be able to toggled off/on. I can understand exactly how you feel but for this game to succeed it needs to to give direction to help casuals(which will make up most of the playerbase). However for the Hardcore players SE will need to have party content the main source of xp with challenging content.

SE themselves have a great challenge trying to balance XIV for the Hardcores and Casuals. There will need to be some middle ground for this to happen. Both sides will have to accept there will be things they don't like about some of SE decisions.

I thought about that as well, (toggling it off and on) It's kinda pointless because everyone, or most people will have it on. Knowing that, it puts me off in a bad place. I will look like the idiot type of thing. When I agrro everything, or do this and that. It doesnt help the people who want it off. Because then the people who have it on will be like you nooob(hate that word). But I agree with most of what you said though. They do need to find something for the hardcore players, something challenging. Hopefully that will be the company system, they have yet to announce in full detail.

so now that I replied you on that. Do explain and reply how an icon just to say something aggro is easy mode? Does it show you how it aggros? the distance? or just stating the obviouse.

Umm... the hardcores did meet halfway on this issue. We compromised by saying we would be fine if it was toggleable. And guess what? The developers are making it a toggle.

So I fail to see the problem.

I don't know if "most" players will be using it.. I've seen quite a few people against the idea. Personally, I won't be bothered if other people use it. If they want an easy button they can have it. I don't care what I look like to other people if I get attacked by something, my mistake, and I'll learn from it and become better at avoiding things. :3 Do what's right for you and forget about what other people are doing. People who need those kinds of bright red warning signs may just be the type to not pay much attention no matter what. The type to go afk on auto-run or something. The type to drive through a stop-sign.
Don't worry about making mistakes, learn from them, ignore idiots, and move on. /cheer!

That not the point

Let's say big % of players use it you doing a party you get attack and get everyone kicked. Party "wtf bro you dumb@#! why did you go there when you know they attacked" You "i have my it off" Party "noob, omg what a noob, Fail, and so on. the point is just becuase you not using it don't mean others would and they be calling you noobs and you wont get more invite from them and ppl would start telling others and blah blah blah.
