So everyone gets Seasonal Affect Depression during winter because all the zones rain all the time?
We already have one form of these suggestions in one form or another (seasonal events, time specific spawns, etc).
Hi Naraku, just thought I should redirect you to my post on Seasonal Effects & Environmental Growth made in April.I thought of this earlier, but to show the passage of time besides day and night, would it be possible (or if it is planned) to have zones go through the seasons? Spring, summer, autumn, and winter? The Black Shroud would be a good place for it. It already seems like a deciduous (a forest that has the seasons, like the forests here in NA). I know that the passage of time is quite fast right now in the current game (day and night cycles), but if the seasons were added for realism, there could be different monsters and drop items that show up at different times.
It's a thought, and I'm sure it could be implimented later on in the game's cycle.
Wish it had gotten as much attention back then as yours is now, but I guess it's never too late.

I'd love to see season changes as long as they took a long time to occur.
I'm not a fan of running around a zone and one hour later it's all snowy then the hour after that it's spring again.
I would love seasons to be implemented, but would not like enemies spawn only in certain seasons.
And, SORRY, but i gotta do this. It's 4D afterall . . .

This was something I wanted to ask in the last LIVE letter. I thought it would be cool to also have snow fall in the cities during winter events. Leaves falling during the fall time and so forth.

If there are any quests for kill x ice elemental in a cold/snowy map, it could easily fixed by changing the quest to elementals in general -- Each elemental being different depending on the season.
Of course will different seasons, it doesn't mean everywhere will be icy and snowy during winter. I'd be nice if certain areas were more affected by the season than others, depending on the season.
Anyone remember Aion 2.0? Seasons... oh wait.
I remember seeing undead spawn in Cedarwood at night before, but that's the only zone I ever remember seeing it.
It would have to be implemented wisely. If they dropped any items of any significance then they would have to run the seasons in game time opposed to Earth time. It just wouldn't be fair to only see an NM that drops something worthwhile only during a three month span.
I posted earlier on this, but I think the seasons should play out in game time if they want to attach any content to it. I figured it takes about 15 days for one game year to go by, so it wouldn't be too bad of a waiting game to do the content relative to the seasons.
