My suggestion is regarding a NM fight. You guys could make a pirate kobold NM, but that could be seen not only outdoor but at cities too.

The NM: Only texture changes isn't enough. Since we got the old gobling back, we could have versions of Kobolds without armor...instead having them dressed like deckhands. Its a shame having only armored kobolds since they might look like black, furry monkeys...would be very nice having them "visible" in lighter clothes.

The NM itself should be an ever more unique kobold, making it bigger and dreesed like those old-school pirates, with wood leg, a big tricorne, long beard ans even a pet (a rat or even an apkallu). It should, obviously, have an unique model so it could be recognized anywhere it goes.

The idea is leaving it walk around all map, followed by its pet and its crew. He being able to even enter cities and walk around it, most of the time not aggressive.

Inside cities he could not be attacked and not attack anyone. But it having an "irritated pattern". Every time a player collides with him he saying something and getting more pissed and, when it becomes pissed enough, the next one to collide with him would be attacked and start a fight, with not only him but all its crew turning aggrevisse and attacking everyone around. After that, they could make a escape to docks (in Limsa) or to chocobo stables elsewhere. After the escape it would generate 12hrs of it randomly attacking ferries. When a ferry is attacked, though, the trip would be aborted and players would me moved to an instance where they would be able to leave onle dead or if they kill the NM.

Also, after the 12hrs, if no one can beat it, it would reset to its "calm version", start fooling around again with its crew and its reward, named "[Name]'s treasure", becoming bigger. It should have not only a large amount of gil but also the most random stuff possible, like randomly copying one of the items of everyone killed during ferry assaults to its treasure (copyig. The player wouldn't lose the item).

And, it it stays unbeatable for a month (obiviously expecting it to be a very tough fight), a special mission leve would be added to attack its ship in search of its loot.

This would generate a long term NM fight that would not be scheduled or even planned due its randomness, also adding even the most bizarre kind of reward since the idea would be each player from the party that beat it to be able to choose one item from all the randomly copyed ones. After everyone picking their reward the loot would reset.

For uniqueness purposes, an uique item from this would also be at treasure item for the case it actually didn't copy anything good.
